Réa Laudat Earns PacWest Women’s Soccer Player of the Week Nod

Thanks to playing a big part in the Academy of Art University women’s soccer team’s first win of the season, senior forward Réa Laudat (Interior Architecture & Design) was named Pacific West Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 7-13.

Laudat totaled three points (1 goal, 1 assist) in the Urban Knights’ (1-3) first win of the season versus Cal State Monterey Bay on Sept. 8. She tallied the game-winning goal in the 64th minute of the second half and assisted on the game-tying goal in the 43rd minute right before halftime. Her game-winning goal broke a two-way tie and gave her the ART U career record for game-winning goals (5). The victory over Cal State Monterey Bay was the program’s first-ever over a California Collegiate Athletic Association program.

This was the first PacWest Player of the Week award of Laudat’s career.
